-When we checked in there was a pleasant smell of citrus fruits
-the bed was beautifully decorated with flowers etc
-you were picked up from the boat and taken to the boat & helped with your luggage
-Air conditioning works very well
-quiet location because there is simply nothing going on on the island itself
The overall vibe was weird, communication in the chat was only on one's own initiative, as there was no sufficient information beforehand about departure time, which boat, which jetty, etc. & also completely ripped off.
The transport was made as complicated as possible, everything was designed to be there for as little time as possible (plus it was canceled at short notice, and the earliest boat was taken because apparently the one wouldn't leave at midday, which already leaves twice a day; instead, we just chilled around at the airport for 12 hours).
Transport by speedboat was originally discussed at 45 USD, a one-way trip was 60 USD and over two trips that adds up
Food left a lot to be desired, tasted bland and no choice.
Beware of further rip-off attempts: 400 USD pp for a Whaleshark tour (small tip: available on Maafushi for 100 USD, on Thulusdoo for 200 USD)
Apart from that, there is very little to do and see in Omadhoo overall, so it's better to save the two hour journey from Malé. When there were strong waves, 3-4 locals always vomited in the boat, so if you have problems, take travel tablets first :)
would recommend Thulusdhoo a thousand times more!!
